PHOTOGRAPHERS’ LOCATION NOTES

We found this Moto Guzzi Ziggolo in a shed in the Swan Valley near Perth Western Australia. It was a small displacement engine of 98cc which belied the classy big bike styling it has.

Ziggolo is Italian for Bunting, which is a small colourful bird with bright green and red colouring. All motor Guzzi small displacement motorcycles were named after small birds.

The only “sting in the tail” of this under powered bike, was a wasp’s nest which can be seen on the seat, however what the bike lacked in power was made up by classy styling, economy and flexibility.
