PHOTOGRAPHERS’ LOCATION NOTES

Sarge was referred to this location in Beverley, Western Australia.

Probably an image that only a projectionist could relate to, Sarge discovered this scene in the town hall projection room in 2003.

Film nights at the town hall had long since passed as residents now had their own video machines and large screen television sets, which unfortunately, has only increased the lack of social contact which is now increasing in country towns. The room had been partially trashed but the two projectors are still intact surrounded by canisters of film and old film posters. Perhaps symbolic of the trashing of past culture which some are so fond of doing these days!.........
