PHOTOGRAPHER’S LOCATION NOTES

This graphic illustrative style photograph of a Jaguar XK 150s was part of a series of promotional car calendars that Sarge produced in the 1990s while working as a professional advertising photographer. The aim of the promotional calendars was to show potential clients the different styles of photography that the studio he was working in could achieve.

The image was created by taking the car to a silica quarry which mined and refined silica and piled it into large heaps which looks like desert sand hills.
